Marbella Nights

Thank you to NetGalley.com for the opportunity to read an Advanced Reader Copy of this book in exchange for my honest opinion.

After some of the other dribble and disappointments I’ve read this summer, I needed something directly up my alley. Found it! This book is THAT smutty and fluffy that I’m not even sure there is an actual plot. Its just bedroom scene after bedroom scene with some drinking and dancing in between..and I’m okay with that.

What I loved: Just like Jackie Collins and Nigel May…without all of the glamour. These characters are more working girls than pampered princesses but they all seem to have a good heart and a decent head on their shoulders…when they’re not all raging drunk and being intimate with pretty much anyone in the book.

What I didn’t love: I kept wondering how this was all going to tie together and end.. and it didn’t. It appears to be the start of a wonderfully smutty series. Book 2 seems to go off on a different tangent with even more characters but I’m not sure if the next book will circle back to these characters and tie up the loose ends.

What I learned: Marbella seems to be the Hamptons of Spain

Overall Grade: B
